To make the baked porcupine meatballs recipe, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix 1 1/2 pounds of lean ground beef with 2/3 cup of uncooked rice, 1/2 cup of water, 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion and 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder. Add in 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt and 1/8 teaspoon of pepper.
Scoop the beef mixture by tablespoon into 1 1/2 inch balls, and place them in an ungreased 13-by-9-inch baking dish. Top the meat with 15 ounces of tomato sauce, 1 cup of water and 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce. Bake until the meat and rice are done.
To make Parisian hot chocolate, bring 1 cup of water and 1/2 vanilla bean to boil. Next, add 6 tablespoons of cocoa and 1/2 cup of sugar. Return to a boil, and then whisk for two minutes. Add 1 pint of half-and-half, and return to a boil. Remove the mixture from heat, and add 4 ounces of bittersweet chocolate. Strain the drink into cups and serve. This yields 3 cups of hot chocolate.Learn more about Cooking
