Baked porcupine meatballs and Parisian hot chocolate are good recipes from "The Better Show." The first recipe is by Cathy Mitchell and the second recipe is by Chef Robert Bennett.
To make the baked porcupine meatballs recipe, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix 1 1/2 pounds of lean ground beef with 2/3 cup of uncooked rice, 1/2 cup of water, 1/4 cup of finely chopped onion and 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder. Add in 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt and 1/8 teaspoon of pepper.
Scoop the beef mixture by tablespoon into 1 1/2 inch balls, and place them in an ungreased 13-by-9-inch baking dish. Top the meat with 15 ounces of tomato sauce, 1 cup of water and 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce. Bake until the meat and rice are done.
To make Parisian hot chocolate, bring 1 cup of water and 1/2 vanilla bean to boil. Next, add 6 tablespoons of cocoa and 1/2 cup of sugar. Return to a boil, and then whisk for two minutes. Add 1 pint of half-and-half, and return to a boil. Remove the mixture from heat, and add 4 ounces of bittersweet chocolate. Strain the drink into cups and serve. This yields 3 cups of hot chocolate.
