Add the cabbage, tomatoes and tomato sauce, and stir to combine. Cover the skillet, and simmer on low heat for 25 minutes, or until the cabbage is soft. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
This dish is nutritious and contains many essential vitamins and minerals. Cabbage contains vitamin C, and tomatoes contain vitamin B and potassium. The beef is high in protein, vitamin B12 and essential minerals such as iron.
