A good recipe for ranch pork chops is the one by Hidden Valley, found on its website, titled Original Ranch Pork Chops. It uses one packet of the Hidden Valley Original Ranch Salad and Seasoning Mix.
The recipe also calls for 6 pork loin rib chops, salt and pepper, and a sprinkle of paprika if you wish for extra seasoning. The pork chops should be about 1 inch thick to make sure they cook all the way through.
First, preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Mix the ranch salad seasoning mix, salt, pepper and paprika (if desired) together in a small bowl. Take the seasoning, and generously rub it into the pork chops. Do this on both sides.
Arrange the pork chops on a baking sheet, or on a wire rack if you have one, so the excess juice can fall away instead of letting the pork chops sit in their own juices. Bake them for about 20 minutes, turning them over at the halfway mark. At 20 minutes, begin testing the internal temperature of the pork chops with a meat thermometer. Once the internal temperature is 160 degrees, they are done. These pork chops are best when served immediately.
