A simple mudslide drink recipe uses 2 ounces Bailey's Irish Cream, 1/2 ounce vodka, 1 cup of ice and some chocolate syrup as desired. A blender is also necessary for this frozen drink.
In a blender, mix the Irish cream, vodka and ice. Swirl chocolate syrup around the inside of a chilled martini glass, and pour the drink into it.
For a thicker and more alcoholic mudslide, use 1 ounce each Bailey's Irish Cream, Kahlua and vodka, plus 2 ounces cream, 2 ounces milk, 3 ice cubes and 1 banana. Combine all the ingredients in a blender, and pour into a tall glass. Garnish with grated chocolate. For an extra cold mudslide, chill all the liquors in the freezer before blending.
A non-alcoholic version of the sweet cocktail uses three scoops of vanilla ice cream, 3 tablespoons non-alcoholic Irish cream-flavored syrup, 1 teaspoon non-alcoholic amaretto-flavored syrup, chocolate syrup and a few splashes of milk. Blend the ice cream and milk together first until the desired consistency is achieved. Add in the syrups, and blend again until the flavors are combined. Pour in a tall glass and top with whipped cream and more chocolate syrup. Instead of vanilla ice cream, try coffee-flavored ice cream for a Mocha Mudslide.
