One good recipe for hot artichoke dip contains artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, cream cheese, onions, Parmesan cheese and a few other ingredients. This recipe takes 40 minutes to complete and serves three to four people.
To make this three cheese hot artichoke dip recipe, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, in a large mixing bowl, beat 8 ounces of softened cream cheese with a handheld mixer until it is very smooth. Beat 2 cups of mayonnaise into the mixture, and add in 14 ounces of drained and chopped artichoke hearts, 2 thinly sliced green onions, 1/2 a cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, a dash of hot sauce and some Worcestershire sauce and salt and pepper to taste. Mix these ingredients until they are well combined. To add another level of flavor, sprinkle in a tablespoon of Ranch dressing mix.
Now transfer the mixture to a shallow baking dish and cooks it for 30 to 40 minutes, or until the dip is golden brown and the top is bubbling. This dip is served hot, preferably with crackers, tortilla chips, crispy bread or vegetables. This dip pairs well with a smooth, buttery wine such as chardonnay.
