Easy Cinnamon Rolls
Prep time: 25 min. plus 1 hr. of rising time
Bake time: 15 min.
Ready in: 1 hr., 40 min.
- 1/4 c., sugar
- 1 tsp.., ground cinnamon
- 1 package (16 oz.) frozen bread rolls, thawed
- 2 tbsp., melted butter
- 1/2 c., confectioners' sugar
- 1 tbsp., 2 percent milk
- Make sugar mixture and cinnamon rolls
- Prepare to bake the cinnamon rolls
- Make the icing
In a shallow bowl, mix the sugar and ground cinnamon. Set aside. Roll each dinner roll into a 12-inch rope, and coil into a cinnamon roll. Brush the top of the rolls with the melted butter and dip into sugar cinnamon mixture.
Place the cinnamon rolls on a greased 13-inch by 9-inch baking sheet. Sprinkle the remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture on the top and cover. Place the pan in a warm place to rise for about an hour before baking at 350 degrees Fahrenheit until golden brown, about 15 to 20 minutes.
In a small bowl, combine the confectioners' sugar and milk and mix until smooth. Drizzle the icing over the warm cinnamon rolls and serve.
