A good bundt cake recipe that uses a Pillsbury cake mix is lemon-glazed bundt cake. The recipe uses one package of Pillsbury's Purely Simple white cake and cupcake mix in addition to sour cream, shortening, eggs, lemon peel and lemon juice.
To make the recipe, beat the cake mix with 1 cup of sour cream, 1/2 cup of shortening, four eggs and 1 teaspoon of grated lemon peel in a bowl. Spread the mixture into a 12-cup bundt pan coated with no-stick cooking spray and dusted lightly with flour. Bake the cake for 40 to 44 minutes, and let it cool in the pan for 15 minutes. To make the drizzle topping, whisk 1 cup of powdered sugar with 1 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice in a bowl, and whisk in additional lemon juice in 1/2-teaspoon increments until the mixture is thick. Drizzle it over the cake.
