A Betty Crocker pot pie recipe using Bisquick calls for 1 2/3 cup frozen mixed vegetables, 1 cup cooked cut up chicken, 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup, 1 cup Bisquick mix, 1/2 cup milk and 1 egg. Leftover turkey may be substituted for the chicken.
Combine the first three ingredients in an ungreased glass pie plate. In a separate bowl, stir the rest of the ingredients together with a fork. Pour over the chicken and vegetables. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
Various substitutions may be made to this recipe, including the use of other condensed cream soups in the place of cream of chicken for a different flavor. Dried herbs also add interest to this recipe. Canned mixed vegetables can replace frozen vegetables.
