Pillsbury offers many recipes on its website that use their crescent dough for appetizers, breakfast, dinner and dessert. These recipes include Easy Veggie Crescent Pizza and Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Roll-ups.
To make an Easy Veggie Crescent Pizza for lunch or dinner, preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Unroll two cans of crescent dough and separate the dough into four long rectangles. Place the dough onto an ungreased pan and press the bottom in and the sides up to form a crust shape. Bake the crescent crusts for 13 to 17 minutes until golden brown and let them cool completely.
Combine one softened 8-ounce package of cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sour cream, 1 teaspoon of dried dill weed and 1/8 teaspoon of garlic powder in a small bowl. Spread the mixture on top of your cooled crusts. Top your pizza with 1/2 cup of small fresh broccoli florets, 1/3 cup of quartered cucumber slices, 1 chopped Roma tomato and 1/4 cup of shredded carrot. Cut your completed pizza into 8 by 4 rows.
To make Sausage, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Roll-ups, heat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a small bowl beat three eggs and reserve 1 tablespoon of the egg to brush on top of your roll-ups later. Scramble the eggs. Cook 8 breakfast sausage links. Cut 4 sandwich-sized slices of cheddar cheese in half and place a half-slice on top of each dough triangle. Then, top the triangles with 1 tablespoon of the scrambled egg mixture and 1 sausage link.
Loosely roll each triangle according to the directions on the can. Place each roll-up on an ungreased cookie sheet and brush the reserved egg on top. Place the rolls in the oven for 15 to 18 minutes or until they are golden brown.
