Maple and mustard glazed salmon, fired up rosemary salmon and salmon croquettes are some good Paula Deen salmon recipes. Another is savory salmon, which uses strawberries and bell peppers.
To make the maple and mustard glazed salmon, sprinkle 4 skin-on salmon fillets with salt and pepper. In a bowl, whisk 1/4 cup of maple syrup, 4 tablespoons of melted butter, 2 tablespoons of mustard, 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce and 1 teaspoon of black pepper. Brush this glaze mixture over the tops of the salmon fillets, place them with their skins facing down on a grill and cook them for four minutes. Flip them and cook them until they reach a desired rareness. This recipe takes 20 minutes and yields four servings.
The salmon croquettes recipe calls for 2 flaked canned salmon fillets, 1 beaten egg, 2 tablespoons of diced green onions, 1/2 cup of bread crumbs and vegetable oil. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat, and combine the salmon, egg, green onions and 1/4 cup of the bread crumbs. Mold the mixture into patties, and dust them with the remaining bread crumbs. Fry the patties until they're golden. This recipe takes 15 minutes and yields four servings.
