KRAFT offers many good pasta recipes. The following are two of the most popular ones. The first one uses ground beef, and the second one calls for chicken.
To make KRAFT's penne pasta skillet recipe, brown 1 lb. of lean ground beef over medium-high heat and drain. Mix in 1 24-ounce jar of spaghetti sauce and 1 cup of water and stir in 2 cups of uncooked penne pasta. After bringing the mixture to a boil, cover and simmer over medium heat for 16 to 18 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
Stir the pasta and top with KRAFT shredded low-moisture part-skim mozzarella cheese. Cover and cook for about 1 minute or until the cheese has melted.
To make KRAFT's chicken pasts skillet recipe, cut 1 lb. of boneless, skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces, spray a large skillet with cooking spray, and cook the chicken over medium-high heat for 5 minutes. Add a green pepper cut into strips and 1 sliced small onion and cook for an additional five minutes, stirring frequently. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of water, and bring the mixture to a boil. Add 2 cups of uncooked rotini pasta, and stir until it is completely covered by water. Bring the mixture to a boil, and cover and simmer for 15 minutes over medium heat or until the pasta is tender.
Stir in 1 24-ounce jar of spaghetti sauce, sprinkle with 1 cup of KRAFT 2 percent milk shredded mozzarella cheese, and cook on low heat until cheese is melted.
