Two warm hors d'oeurves recipes are sausage cheddar balls and fried mozzarella bites. Serve these bite-sized appetizers with toothpicks and a selection of dipping sauces, such as marinara or ranch.
For sausage cheddar balls, mix sausage, shredded cheddar cheese and a little flour together. Add other seasonings, such as minced onion, paprika or cayenne, for extra flavor to taste. Break the mixture into small balls roughly the size of golf balls, and then bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until the balls are browned.
For fried mozzarella bites, cut mozzarella into cubes, and dip them in whipped eggs and then a mixture of bread crumbs and seasonings to taste. Fry the bites in a shallow pan with olive oil on both sides until browned and crispy.
