One simple green smoothie recipe is to combine 2 tablespoons lime juice with 1/2 cup water in a blender. Add 2 cups stemmed and chopped greens, such as kale or spinach, 1 1/2 cups frozen mango and 1 cup green grapes and blend until smooth.
Another green smoothie can be made by blending 1/2 cup coconut milk, 2 cups stemmed and chopped kale or spinach, 1 1/2 cups chopped pineapple and 1 ripe banana for about 1 minute. If the smoothie is too thick, add water to reach the desired consistency.

Combine 1 cup of pineapple, 1 apple, 4 large kale leaves, 1/2 bunch of parsley, 1 cucumber, 6 large stalks of celery and 1 slice of fresh ginger in a blender. Add ice or water to achieve the desired consistency. This recipe makes 2 large servings.
