Cosmopolitan magazine lists a variety of alcoholic drink recipes which include fruits or fruit juices. Pink Raspberry Cosmopolitans and Pineapple and Coconut Champagne cocktails are a few good fruity alcoholic drinks recipes.
To make a Pink Raspberry Cosmopolitan you need: 2 cups of frozen raspberries, 1.5 cups of water, 2 ounces of raspberry liqueur, 4 ounces of vodka, the juice of one-half a lime, 1 ounce of syrup, pink sugar crystals and raspberries for garnishing the drink. To make raspberry juice, place the frozen raspberries, syrup and water into a pot. Bring the mixture to a simmer and mash the berries against the pot to release their juices. Strain the mixture into the bowl.
In a shaker combine the raspberry juice, raspberry liqueur, vodka and lime juice with ice, and shake a few times until the liquid is ice cold. Dip the rims of the serving glasses in the pink sugar crystals to coat them. Pour the mixture into the prepared glasses and garnish with a few raspberries.
To make a Pineapple and Coconut Champagne cocktail you need: chilled organic pineapple juice, chilled organic coconut juice blend, champagne, syrup and finely shredded unsweetened coconut. Place the syrup and shredded coconut in different bowls. Dip the rims of the serving glassed into the syrup and then into the coconut. Set the glasses aside and allow them to dry.
Fill each prepared glass with 1.5 ounces each of coconut and pineapple juice. Fill the rest of the glass with chilled champagne and serve immediately.
