Pillsbury's easy chicken and dumplings and cheesy ham and egg bubble-up bake both yield tasty results, and each takes 30 minutes or less of hands-on prep time. Chicken and dumplings makes a cozy, comforting meal, while the cheesy egg bake makes a casserole worthy of breakfast, lunch or dinner.
To make easy Pillsbury chicken and dumplings, combine 4 cups chicken broth with 3 cups of cooked and shredded chicken in a Dutch oven. Stir in a can of cream of chicken soup and 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning. Bring the mixture to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer covered for five minutes. Meanwhile, open a can of Pillsbury Grands biscuits and pat each one to a 1/8-inch thickness. Cut each biscuit into strips, and drop the strips into the boiling pot along with 2 chopped carrots and 3 ribs of chopped celery. Simmer the mixture for 20 minutes until the dumplings are tender.
Alternatively, make the bubble-up bake by cutting 5 Pillsbury biscuits into eight wedges and arrange them in a greased casserole dish. In a large bowl, beat 9 eggs with 1 1/2 cups milk. Add 1 3/4 cups diced cooked ham, a 10-ounce box of frozen broccoli, 1/3 cup chopped scallions and 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese. Pour the egg mixture over the biscuits, and bake the dish for approximately 45 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
