To make cheesecake, beat 4 8-ounce packages of cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract with a mixer until they are well blended. Add 4 eggs, one at a time, while continuing to blend until smooth. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch pie pan lined with a graham cracker crust, and bake for approximately 55 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Cool the cheesecake, then refrigerate it for four hours before serving.
The graham cracker crust can be purchased pre-made at most grocery stores. Alternatively, it can be made at home by mixing 1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs, 3 tablespoons of sugar and 1/3 of a cup of sugar. Press the crust mixture into a 9-inch pie pan.Learn more about Desserts
