Brownberry broccoli and stuffing is a good recipe that uses stuffing cubes. The cubes are toasted and available plain or with herb seasoning, eliminating the need to cube and toast bread for the family's favorite stuffing recipes.
Boil approximately 2 pounds of fresh broccoli florets in salted water until it is tender. Drain it, and place a layer in a lightly greased 9x13-inch baking dish. For easier cleanup, line the baking dish with foil before greasing it.
In a large bowl, beat 2 eggs, and add 1 chopped onion, a 10 1/2 ounce can of cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 cup of mayonnaise. Mix the ingredients to create the mayonnaise sauce.
Pour the sauce over the broccoli. Spread a 10-ounce bag of Brownberry stuffing over the top of the casserole. Pour 1/2 cup of melted butter over the stuffing and top with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
Cover the baking dish with foil to keep the ingredients moist while they bake. Place it in a preheated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake it for 30 minutes. Serve the casserole while it is hot. This meat-free stuffing casserole is a good addition to meals featuring poultry or pork as the main dish.
