Bake for an additional five to 10 minutes uncovered.
To make Betty Crocker's bread stuffing, melt 3/4 cup of butter in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Add 2 chopped celery stalks and 1/2 cup of chopped onion, and cook for six to eight minutes, stirring occasionally. Toss the mixture with 9 cups of soft bread cubes, 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of ground sage and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper.
