Maple mustard salmon and grilled salmon with citrus-tomato salsa are two Becel salmon recipes. Preparation times are 10 to 15 minutes, and ingredients include soy sauce, green onions and Becel Buttery Taste margarine.
To make Becel's maple mustard salmon, arrange 1 pound of boneless salmon fillets cut into four pieces in a baking dish. In a bowl, microwave 1/4 cup of Becel Buttery Taste margarine until it melts, and stir in 1/4 cup of maple syrup, 4 teaspoons of mustard and 1 teaspoon of soy sauce. Pour the mixture over the fillets, and bake it in an oven preheated to 425 F for about 12 minutes or until the salmon flakes. Serve the dish with an optional side of rice and vegetables.
For the grilled salmon with citrus-tomato salsa, combine 2 medium chopped tomatoes, 2/3 cup of sliced green onions, 4 tablespoons of chopped cilantro, and 2 peeled, sectioned and chopped naval oranges in a large bowl. Add in 2 teaspoons of chopped and seeded jalapeño pepper if desired. In a small bowl, mix 4 tablespoons of Becel Buttery Taste margarine with 2 tablespoons of cilantro. Grill or broil the salmon for 15 minutes or until it flakes, brush it with the cilantro spread, and serve it with salsa.
