Easy no-bake chocolate nut cookie recipe

No-bake cookies are very easy to make. Recipes that include baking chocolate or chocolate chips are especially low-maintenance, as the chocolate can cool as a solid to help hold the other ingredients together.

Prep Time: 25 min.

Cook Time: 5 min.

Setting Time: 60 min.

Ready In: 90 min.

  • 1 cup chocolate chips or baking chocolate
  • 1 cup nuts, such as peanuts, macadamia nuts or almonds
  • 3/4 cup dried fruit, such as dried apricots, cranberries or raisins

Step 1: Melt the chocolate in a saucepan over medium heat. When all the chocolate pieces are melted, set the mixture aside and let it cool slightly.

Step 2: Add the nuts and dried fruit to the mixture. Stir the mixture so that all of the ingredients are blended evenly in the chocolate.

Step 3: Line a baking sheet with wax paper or a muffin tin with paper cups. Use a spoon to drop the mixture onto the sheet or into the cups.

Step 4: Let the mixture cool and set for 1 hour. The cookies are ready when they are solid and firm. Store the cookies in the fridge.
