To make Betty Crocker's caramel apple martinis, microwave 6 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 1/2 teaspoons of butter and 2 tablespoons of water in a bowl for 40 to 60 seconds. Dip apple slices into the caramel mixture, and sprinkle them with 1/2 tablespoon of peanuts. Spoon the remaining, cooled caramel into two martini glasses, and place them in the freezer. In a shaker, combine ice and 2 ounces each of apple- or vanilla-flavored vodka, sour apple-flavored schnapps and butterscotch-flavored schnapps. Shake it, strain it into the prepared martini glasses, and garnish with the caramel-dipped apple slices.
