Scientific studies show that genetically modified organisms, known as GMOs, are safe to eat. Not only are they safe to eat, they also make agricultural practices more sustainable.
Some organizations that say that GMOs are safe include the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the World Health Organization, The American Medical Association and the National Academy of Sciences. A study published in the Journal of Animal science found that animals that consume feed derived from GMO corn and soy products were just as healthy as animals fed from non-GMO sources. Another study found that there is no adverse health effects on humans who consume animals that eat GMO-based feed.
