ABC Fine Wine & Spirits began as Jack's Friendly Neighborhood Bar in Orlando, Florida, in 1936, shortly after the end of Prohibition. The company became ABC Liquors in 1950. According to legend, founder Jack Holloway chose the new name to ensure it would show up first in phone listings, and to make it easy for customers to remember. The chain eventually spread throughout Florida, rebranding itself as ABC Fine Wine & Spirits in the early 1990s.Learn more about Liquor & Cocktails
