Some Flavorwave oven recipes are pot roast, Hawaiian burgers and mustard steak. Flavorwave ovens use halogen heat and infrared waves to cook these recipes in a fraction of the time these dishes typically require.
To make 2 to 4 servings of pot roast in a Flavorwave oven, use 1 to 2 pounds of bottom round roast or rump roast. Insert the beef into a plastic cooking bag. Add 1 diced medium onion, 4 chopped cloves of garlic and 1 large diced potato. Peel 2 carrots, cut them into 1-inch pieces, and add them to the plastic bag. Place 1 cup of spaghetti sauce and 1 cup of red wine in the bag and close it, leaving a small opening. Place the bag on the 1-inch rack of the Flavorwave oven, and cook it for 45 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Turn the bag over, and cook it for another 30 minutes.
To make the Hawaiian burgers, divide 1 pound of ground meat into two equal portions. Shape each portion into a 3-inch disk. Combine 2 tablespoons of crushed pineapple, 1 tablespoon of mango chutney and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and add the fruity mixture to the top of the beef patties. Press the edges of the patties together, and place them on the Flavorwave oven's 3-inch rack. Cook the topped patties for five minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit, then flip and cook them for another five minutes. The internal temperature should be 160 degrees Fahrenheit.
