Wendy's, Chick-fil-A and Chipotle are a few fast-food restaurants that have gluten-free items as of 2015. Those with serious allergies should always double check with the restaurant to make sure that its kitchen does not cross-contaminate.
For example, Wendy's grilled chicken is gluten-free, but the restaurant warns that the chicken may touch items such as tongs that previously touched gluten. Wendy's has several gluten-free options, such as its Apple Pecan Salad, baked potatoes and chili.
Most of Chick-fil-A's grilled chicken options are gluten free sans the bread, as well as many of its side dishes including the cole slaw, side salad and waffle fries.
Almost all of Chipotle's menu is gluten free, except for the flour tortillas. Chipotle encourages those with celiac disease to ask the worker to change his gloves before handling the order.
