To make bread, dissolve 1/4 ounce yeast in 2 1/4 cups of warm water. Add 3 tablespoons sugar, 1 tablespoon oil, 1 tablespoon salt and 3 cups of flour. Mix well, and gradually add enough flour to form soft dough. Knead the dough for eight to 10 minutes. Place the dough in an oiled bowl until it doubles, punch the dough down, and divide it into two pieces. Bake the bread for 30 to 35 minutes at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
