Kraft offers a recipe for an easy breaded chicken recipe using bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese and seasonings. The recipe requires 10 minutes to prepare and is ready in a total of 30 minutes. It is crispy on the outside but remains juicy on the inside.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit, and spray a rimless baking sheet with nonstick spray. Prepare the breading by mixing 1/3 cup of Parmesan cheese and 1/4 cup of seasoned dry bread crumbs with 1/4 teaspoon each of black pepper and paprika in a shallow dish. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a separate shallow dish. Dip six boneless, skinless chicken breast in the melted butter, turning each breast so it is evenly coated and then rolling it in the bread crumb mixture.
Once all the chicken breasts are breaded, place the baking sheet into the preheated oven, and cook for 20 minutes. The chicken is done when the internal temperature reads 165 degrees Fahrenheit on a meat thermometer stuck midway into the breast.
Serve these chicken breasts with a salad and a side of spaghetti topped with pasta sauce. Substitute plain bread crumbs mixed with a teaspoon of oregano leaves for the seasoned bread crumbs or a Romano-Parmesan cheese blend for the plain Parmesan.
