Some easy traditional Irish recipes include Smoked Salmon with Horseradish Sauce and Sauteed Kale with Irish Bacon. Both recipes use traditional Irish ingredients, such as salmon, bacon, Irish butter and soda bread.
Tangy horseradish sauce is a combination of organic canola mayonnaise, fresh flat-leaf parsley, horseradish, whole-grain Dijon mustard and ground black pepper. This is spooned onto slices of smoked salmon and soda bread and optionally garnished with fresh dill.
To make Sauteed Kale with Irish Bacon, saute the bacon and drain. Then melt Irish butter with onions and garlic in the same pan and add kale and chicken stock. Finally add cream and lemon juice and return the bacon to the pan.
