To make the sangria punch, gather 6 cups of chopped assorted fruits (such as strawberries, mangoes and pineapples), 1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh ginger, 1.5 cups of fresh mint or basil leaves, 1/2 cup orange liqueur, a bottle of white wine and 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice.
In a large bowl, mix together the fruit, ginger, basil or mint leaves and liqueur. Mash the fruits until they start to produce juices. Use the back of a wooden spoon to bruise the basil or mint leaves slightly. Add the wine and lemon juice to the fruit, and stir well. Refrigerate the sangria for about a hour or longer, and serve the sangria in a punchbowl with ice.
KraftRecipes provides an easy recipe for a sangria punch. To make this recipe, gather 1 cup of cold orange juice, 3 cups of cold club soda, two sliced oranges, two sliced limes, 3/4 cup lemonade or pink lemonade drink mix, 4 cups of cranberry juice cocktail and 2 tablespoons of fresh lime juice.
