An easy recipe for peanut butter pie can be found on Jif.com. The Food Network also provides recipes for chocolate peanut butter pudding pie, peanut butter cream pie, and chocolate peanut butter banana cream pie.
The Jif.com recipe calls for 1 cup and 2 tablespoons of creamy peanut butter, 8 ounces of soft cream cheese, 1/2 cup of sugar, 4 1/2 cups of thawed whipped topping, and 1 jar of Smucker's hot fudge topping. The recipe also requires 1 prepared chocolate pie crust.
To prepare the pie, beat together 1 cup of peanut butter, cream cheese, and sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until the mixture is well combined. Gently mix in 3 cups of whipped topping, spoon the mixture into the pie crust and smooth it out until it reaches the edges.
Pour 2 tablespoons of hot fudge into the corner of a reusable food bag, and set it aside. Microwave the remaining hot fudge on high for one minute, stir and spread the topping over the peanut butter layer. Spread 1 1/2 cups of whipped topping over the hot fudge layer, being careful not to mix the two layers.
Cut a small corner of the bag containing the hot fudge, and drizzle it over the whipped topping. Place the remaining 2 tablespoons of peanut butter in a reusable bag, cut a small corner, and drizzle it over the hot fudge. This pie should be refrigerated until it is ready to serve.
