An easy recipe for homemade cinnamon rolls includes cans of crescent dinner rolls or dough, cinnamon, powdered sugar, pecans, brown sugar, milk and butter or margarine. The ingredients are combined and then baked for 20 to 25 minutes in a 375 F oven. Using already prepared dough decreases the time needed to make these cinnamon rolls.

Cook time: 25 min.
Ready in: 40 min.
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup softened butter or margarine
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2/3 cup finely chopped pecans
- 2 8 oz. cans of refrigerated crescent dinner rolls or dough sheets
- 1 tbsp. softened butter or margarine
- 2-3 tbsp. milk
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375 F and grease a 13x9-inch pan. Mix all the filling ingredients together.
Step 2: Unroll one can of the dough or crescent rolls and press into a 13x7-inch rectangle. Place filling onto rectangle and spread evenly.
Step 3: Unroll the second can of the dough or crescent rolls and press into a 13x7-inch rectangle. Place over and onto the filling.
Step 4: Cut the dough into 8x13-inch strips. Twist five or six times, making sure to press extra filling into the rolls. Shape each one into a coil and place onto the greased pan.
Step 5: Bake the rolls 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove the rolls from the pan and place onto a rack to cool.
Step 6: Make the glaze by stirring the ingredients together, adding milk until it is the desired consistency. Drizzle the glaze over the rolls and serve warm.
