Easy Dill Sauce Recipe

Each one tablespoon serving contains 28 calories, 2 grams of fat, 50 milligrams of sodium, 2 milligrams of cholesterol and 2 grams of carbohydrates. The recipe is easy to customize.

- 1/4 cup low-fat mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup non-fat yogurt, plain flavor
- 2 scallions
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. fresh dill
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Blend the ingredients
Chop the scallions into thin slices. Finely chop the dill.
Blend all of the ingredients together in a bowl.
Store extra sauce in a covered bowl or container for up to 2 days.
Cooks who are not diet-conscious can make the sauce with full-fat ingredients. Sour cream makes a good alternative to the yogurt in the recipe. Additional flavors can include 1 tsp. horseradish and 1/4 tsp. garlic salt, as recommended by Taste of Home magazine.
