Impossibly easy cheeseburger pie is a simple cheeseburger pie recipe that uses Bisquick. The recipe makes six servings and takes about 15 minutes of preparation. Besides Bisquick, the required ingredients include ground beef, onion, cheddar cheese, milk and eggs.
To make impossibly easy cheeseburger pie, cook 1 pound of ground beef and 1 cup of chopped onion in a skillet for about eight to 10 minutes until the beef is brown. Drain excess fat from the beef, and season with 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Spread into a greased 9-inch pie plate, and sprinkle with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of Original Bisquick mix, 1 cup of milk and 2 eggs. Stir with a fork or a whisk until well blended, and pour the mixture into the pie plate. Bake at 400 F for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick or knife inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean.
To make 10 to 12 servings of cheeseburger pie, use a 13-by-9-inch pan. Increase the onions to 1 1/2 cups, and layer a 12-ounce bag of frozen mixed vegetables on top of the meat mixture. Double the amounts of Bisquick, milk, eggs and cheese. Bake at 400 F for about 30 minutes.
