The ingredients required to make a pierogi casserole are 5 peeled and cubed potatoes, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 cup of melted butter, 1/2 pound of diced bacon and 1 chopped onion. Boil potatoes in a large pot until fully cooked and tender. Remove from heat, and drain the water. Add in 6 tablespoons of butter and milk. Mash together, and keep to the side.
