Easy Peach Pie
Peach pie is a delicious treat for summer days, when fresh peaches are in season.

Ready in: 1 hr. and 35 min.
Peel and slice the peaches and place them in a large bowl. Mix in the sugar and brown sugar and cover the bowl. Let the peaches sit for 1 hour.
Drain the juices from the peach and sugar mixture. Add the juices to a saucepan and mix in the spices, salt and starch. Bring the ingredients to a boil and cook until the mixture is thick. Remove the pan from the element and mix in the butter and lemon juice. Stir the mixture into the peach and sugar mixture.
Roll out one half of the pie crust pastry. Add it to a 9-inch pie plate and trim off the edges. Add the peach mixture to the crust.
Roll out the other half of the pastry. Cut it into strips and add it to the top of the pie in a lattice pattern. Seal the edges of the crust and trim them.
Bake the pie for 50 to 60 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove the pie from the oven when the crust is golden brown.
