To make an easy mostaccioli dish, cook the mostaccioli pasta in a pot while cooking 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef, 1 1/4 cups of chopped green pepper and 1 cup of chopped onion in a skillet. Drain the grease from the beef before stirring in 1 26-ounce jar of spaghetti sauce and 1 can of condensed cheddar cheese soup. Mix in 1 1/2 teaspoons of Italian seasoning and 3/4 teaspoon of pepper. Mix the pasta with 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese, and add it to the beef mixture. Pour everything into a baking dish, and top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese. Cook at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for five to 10 minutes.
Another easy recipe doesn't require any baking. Cook 1 pound of ground beef, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped green bell pepper and 1 minced garlic clove in a skillet, stirring the beef. Once the meat is browned, drain off the grease, and add 3 cups of tomato juice, 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce, 1/4 teaspoon of pepper and 2 cups of uncooked mostaccioli pasta. Bring everything to a boil, then reduce the heat, and simmer covered for 20 minutes. Remove the lid and simmer for another 10 minutes.
