Some of the easiest mixed drinks to make are the classics, such as the Tom Collins or the Gimlet. The recipes below show how to make some of the classics that can be served at any event.
Combine bourbon, lemon juice and simple syrup to a shaker filled with cracked ice and shake well.
Strain the drink into a cocktail glass that has been chilled.
Garnish with an orange twist and maraschino cherry and add cracked ice if desired.
Add tomato juice, vodka, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, celery salt and hot sauce to a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes and shake well to mix.
Pour the drink into a chilled glass and add ice cubes to keep chilled.
Garnish the drink with a celery stalk and serve.
