To prevent the bottom noodles from drying out, spread 3/4 cup of the sauce mixture on the bottom of the casserole dish. To keep the rest of the lasagna from drying out, add 1/2 cup of water to the edges of the lasagna, and cover it with aluminum foil while baking. Uncover the dish for the last 10 minutes of baking to help the top layer of cheese turn golden brown.
To keep the middle layers even, use 1 3/4 cup of the cheese mixture and 1/4 cup of the sauce for each one. For the top of the last noodle layer, spread on the remaining sauce and top with 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. For an extra tip, line the entire casserole dish with aluminum foil to cook the food evenly, keep it moist and make clean-up easy.Learn more about Meat
