The Pillsbury recipe requires preheating an oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Unroll refrigerated crescent dough, and press it into the bottom of an ungreased glass baking dish. Press the dough up the sides of the dish for about 1 inch. Use a fork to place small holes throughout the dough. Bake it for 7 to 9 minutes.
Beat 6 eggs in a medium bowl. Pour them into the dough-lined pan. Add 1 cup of chopped ham, 1/2 cup of chopped pepper and 1-1/2 cup of shredded cheese. Bake the ingredients for 17 to 22 minutes longer or until eggs are cooked and the crust browns.
The Betty Crocker recipe requires spraying a baking dish with cooking spray and preheating an oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a bowl, beat 6 eggs, 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder. Fold in 8 ounces of sour cream, 3/4 cup of milk, 2 cups of cubed ham, 1 cup of a chopped tomato and 2 cups of shredded cheese.
