Ready In: 40 min.
- 1 lb. fettuccine pasta
- 1 tbps. butter
- 4 minced garlic cloves
- 1 lb. peeled and deveined cooked shrimp
- 1 cup half and half
- 6 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt, to taste
- Ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
Step 1: Fill a large pot with water and place on the stove. Bring it to a boil using high heat. Once boiling, add fettuccine pasta and boil for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: While the pasta is cooking, in a large skillet, combine the butter, shrimp and garlic, cooking for about 1 minute. Stir in the half and half and add the Parmesan cheese, 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly. Add salt and black pepper to taste, and stir in chopped parsley. Stir constantly, while not allowing the sauce to boil.
Step 3: Cook until sauce has thickened. Add in the cooked pasta and stir to combine. This dish is best served hot.
