For spicy shrimp scampi, cook half a package of roasted garlic angel hair Creamette pasta. Melt 2 tablespoons butter with 2 tablespoons olive oil in a skillet. Add 3/4 pounds peeled and deveined shrimp, 2 tablespoons chopped parsley, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon red pepper. Cook three minutes, and then pour over the cooked pasta.
For herbed seafood linguine, cook half a package of linguine. In a skillet, combine 10.5 ounces of red clam sauce, 1/4 pound sole, 3 ounces fresh crabmeat, and 10 peeled and deveined shrimp. Add 1/3 cup chopped onion, 1/4 cup chopped green pepper and minced garlic. Season the mixture with 1/8 teaspoon basil and 1/8 teaspoon oregano.
Bring the sauce to a boil, and reduce the heat. Simmer the sauce until the fish is cooked through. Pour the sauce over the cooked pasta, and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
For easy lasagna, brown 1 pound ground beef, and drain the fat. Add 24 ounces of spaghetti sauce and 1.5 cups of water, and simmer for 10 minutes. In a bowl, combine 15 ounces of ricotta cheese, 1 cup shredded mozzarella and 1/2 cup Parmesan. Add two eggs, 1/4 cup parsley, and salt and pepper to taste. Alternate layers of uncooked lasagna pasta, the cheese filling and the sauce. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese, and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes.Learn more about Cooking
