Another canned salmon recipe is Pasta Jitomate de Salmon, which combines the fish with cooked tomatoes, onion, garlic, chili, herbs and spices before serving with spaghetti, white cheese and fresh chopped cilantro.
To make Pasta Jitomate de Salmon, drain and flake the salmon in a bowl then set aside. Combine the tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion, garlic, jalapeno, oregano and cumin in a bowl. Heat the oil in a large pot over a medium temperature before adding the tomato mixture. Stir continuously while bringing to the boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Make Kimchi Fried Rice with Salmon by sauteing onions and garlic until soft, and then adding in kimchi, leftover rice and canned salmon. Cook an egg in the middle of the pan and then combine it evenly with the rice. Add sesame seeds and sesame oil and serve.
