Combine one box of Betty Crocker SuperMoist yellow cake mix, 1/2 cup softened butter or margarine, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 egg and 1 teaspoon milk in a large bowl. Mix with a spoon, or beat with an electric mixer on medium until smooth. Add an additional tablespoon milk if mixture is too dry. Stir in 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips and 1/2 cup chopped nuts.
