To make breakfast pizza, place scrambled eggs, diced tomato, cheese and Italian seasoning on a precooked pizza crust, and bake the pizza at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for eight to 10 minutes. Additional toppings, such as cooked bacon, can also be used to make breakfast pizza.
To make sausage and cheese breakfast pizza, scramble 4 eggs in 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat, and spoon the eggs evenly onto 2 8-inch precooked pizza crusts that have been brushed with olive oil. The eggs should be soft after cooking.
Dice a tomato, and add 1/2 of the tomato to each pizza. Sprinkle 2 crumbled, precooked sausage patties, 1/8 cup of Parmesan cheese, 1/2 a teaspoon of Italian seasoning and 1 cup of Colby cheese on top of each pizza, and bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for eight to 10 minutes. Cut the pizza into slices and serve immediately.
Refrigerated pizza dough can also be used to make breakfast pizza. To make breakfast pizza with a crispy crust when using refrigerated pizza dough, bake the crust in a greased 12-inch pizza pan without toppings for six to seven minutes, add the toppings, and continue cooking for eight to 12 minutes. The pizza can also be topped with crisp, cooked bacon as an alternative to sausage.
