For the No-Bake Chocolate Pretzel Peanut Butter Squares, combine 1 1/2 sticks of melted butter, 2 cups of crushed pretzel rods, 1 1/2 cups of confectioner's sugar and 1 cup of peanut butter in a bowl. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of an ungreased 9-by-13-by-2-inch pan.
In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave 1 1/2 cups of milk chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of peanut butter for 30 seconds. Stir and repeat. Blend the chocolate chips and peanut butter until smooth, then spread them over the bottom layer. Refrigerate for an hour before cutting into bars.
For the No Bake Chocolate Oat Bars, grease a 9-by-9-inch pan. Melt 1 cup of butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix in 3 cups of quick cooking oats and cook over low heat for about three minutes. Press half of this mixture into the pan.
Meanwhile, melt 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips and 1/2 cup of peanut butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir frequently until smooth, then spread the mixture over the bottom layer. Top this by crumbling the remaining oat mixture over it and pressing gently. Cover and refrigerate for at least two hours before cutting into bars.
