Baked apple chicken, chicken curry and apple pork chops are easy apple dishes for dinner. The chicken curry and apple pork chop recipes do not require oven baking, while the baked apple chicken recipe has the fewest number of ingredients.
To make baked apple chicken, brown 4 boneless chicken breasts in a greased skillet. Top the breasts with 1/2 cup of sliced onions, and surround them with 2 sliced apples. Mix 1/2 cup of pancake syrup with 1/3 cup of Italian dressing, and pour over the chicken. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes.
To make chicken curry, sprinkle 4 boneless chicken breasts with 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and brown the chicken in 2 tablespoons of butter. Transfer to a plate, and add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Cook 1 chopped onion for five minutes, and stir in 1 tablespoon of curry powder. Cook for one minute, and add the chicken, 1 chopped green apple, 1/3 cup of raisins and 1 cup of chicken broth. Simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.
To make apple pork chops, brown 4 pork chops in 1 tablespoon of butter. Combine 3 tablespoons of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Remove the pork chops, and add 4 sliced tart apples, 2 tablespoons of chopped pecans, the sugar mixture and 2 tablespoons of butter to the pan. Cook until the apples are tender, and serve with the pork chops.
