You can easily freeze peaches by blanching them, cooling them, peeling them and packing them in freezer bags or containers. You can safely store properly frozen peaches for eight to 10 months, according to Better Homes and Gardens.
Slice an X into the peaches' skins on the bottoms before blanching them. Next, boil a pot of water and dip the peaches in with a slotted spoon for about a minute each. Immediately transfer the peaches to a bowl of ice water after taking them out of the boiling water.
Once the peaches are cool, peel the skins off and slice them in half to remove the pits. Pack them into freezer containers, leaving 1/2 to 1 inch of space to allow for the liquid in the peaches to expand when frozen. Sprinkle sugar over them and let them sit for 15 minutes before freezing them.
