Cut oranges into crosswise, quarter-inch thick slices that look similar to a pinwheel. Keep the slices as uniform as possible.
Lay the slices flat on a baking sheet. You can use a piece of foil if you don't have a baking sheet.
Bake the orange slices in an oven set at 150 F for approximately 4 hours. Turn orange slices over with a spatula once an hour until they are almost completely dry.
Once the slices only have a little moisture left, remove them from the oven. Allow them to finish drying at room temperature to retain the orange coloring.
