Dressing that pair well with spinach salads include warm bacon dressing and bacon-mustard dressing. Some sweet dressing also pair well with spinach salads, such as raspberry jam vinaigrette and poppyseed dressing.
To make warm bacon dressing, fry 8 pieces of chopped thick-sliced bacon in a skillet. Reserve 3 tablespoons of the bacon fat, and heat it in a saucepan with 3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar, 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of Dijon mustard. Season the dressing with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle it over spinach, sliced mushrooms, hard-boiled eggs and sliced red onion along with the cooked crumbled bacon.
Make a sweet poppyseed dressing for a spinach salad that contains sliced strawberries and slivered almonds by mixing together 2 tablespoons of sesame seeds, 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds, 1/2 cup of white sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of paprika and 1 tablespoon of minced onion. Add 1/2 cup of olive oil, 1/4 cup of distilled white vinegar and 1/4 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, and mix everything well before pouring the dressing over the salad.
To make a harvest spinach salad with the accompanying raspberry jam vinaigrette, combine 1 bunch of spinach, 1/2 cup of dried cranberries, 2 chopped tomatoes, 1/2 sliced red onion and 1 diced avocado along with 1/2 cup of roasted chopped walnuts and 1/2 cup of crumbled blue cheese in a serving bowl. Mix together 2 tablespoons of red raspberry jam, 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar, 1/3 cup of walnut oil, and salt and pepper to taste. Toss the salad with the dressing before serving.
