The bars are then topped with 3/4 cup of flaked coconut, 1/2 cup of chopped almonds and 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix the butter and sugar together in a large bowl until the ingredients are well blended and creamy. Add the flour, baking soda and salt to the bowl, and continue to stir the ingredients together until they are completely incorporated and crumbly.
Spoon 3/4 of the mixture into a medium-sized baking dish. Bake the ingredients for 10 minutes. Remove the baking dish from the oven, and spread 20 ounces of lemon curd over the top. Spread the remaining portion of the flour and butter mixture over the top of the lemon curd, and sprinkle it with the coconut and almonds.
